There are distributions that will always make it to the top ten, whereas others may be in the list today and not at the end of next year. Another not so well-known feature of  Distrowatch  is a  waiting list  that consists of distributions: Not reviewed yet With missing or faulty components Without solid English documentation Projects that do not seem to be maintained anymore Some of the distributions that have not been reviewed yet may be worthy of consideration due to their great potential. With a brand new year about to kick off my mind is in a contemplative mode, wondering what the next twelve months might hold for Linux and the wider open source community. So naturally, and without any shred of originality, I’m going to share my Linux predictions for 2019. Now, I am not psychic; whether any of my Linux predictions  actually happen, or whether they stay wannabe “would’ve-beens” left to loiter in my head, is totally unknown.
